Saturday, May 17th, 8 Guild Members carpooled to scenic, cool, Glade Park for a Dyeing Workshop with Candy Tobin. We went wild dyeing yarn, roving, wool, silk and other protein fibers. I am always energized by workshops and want to get out my camp stove and dye pots and do some more! Candy encouraged us to dye "outside the box" by using colors we usually don't use or like. Below is a sample of the roving I dyed. Look for an open dye day later in the year at Color Creek Fibers.
